Day Camp - City
We’re embarking on a new adventure this year: we’re bringing Camp Arnes to the city!
For a whole week, your camper can experience Camp without being at Camp. They’ll still get to sing songs, make new friends, join in classic Camp activities like Creator’s Studio, Pedal Karts and the Escape Room as well as new activities like Archery Tag and a Nerf Blaster Range! Every afternoon, your camper will get to join in our camp-wide activity which is guaranteed to be a lot of fun. Most importantly, they’ll get to hear about the life God has for them through our amazing staff and speaker!
We are so excited to give campers an opportunity to enjoy Camp Arnes in a new and fresh way. They get dropped off* at our Day Camp site right after breakfast and picked up at dinner, just in time to fill your evening with stories and excitement from the day! As you begin to pack for each day, here’s a list of essential items you’ll need each day:

Weather appropriate clothing, which may include a hat, sunglasses, raincoat or etc.

A backpack

A refillable water bottle

A Bible

A lunch and a small snack from home

A pair of comfortable closed-toe shoes (runners, boots, etc.)

A pair of sandals (flip flops, slides, etc.)

A swimming suit, a towel and a bag to place wet clothes in (Friday only)

Sunscreen and bug spray

When does day camp start and end?
Our day camps in the city run from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm, with a half hour of pre-camp programming and one hour of post-camp programming offered to parents at an additional cost who cannot drop off or pick up their child at that point in time.
What is our pick-up and drop-off point?
The point for pick-ups and drop-offs will be at Elmwood Mennonite Brethren Church, located at 145 Henderson Hwy in Winnipeg, MB.
Can my child walk home after?
Our preference is that an approved parent/guardian drops off and picks up your camper. A Summer Day Camp 2021 - Walk/Bus Waiver has been created for parents to sign and submit if they wish to have their camper walk and/or bus home. You may contact the Summer Registrar at registrar@camparnes.com or call 204-338-4647 to receive this.
What protocols will be in place to keep my camper safe?
We will be constantly sanitizing high-frequency surfaces, including all equipment used by campers. We will be asking all campers to be wearing masks indoors and maintaining a minimum of six feet distance from one another as much as possible. There will be constant breaks for hand washing in-between activities. We are working with Manitoba Health during these ever changing circumstances to keep up to date with the current sanitation requirements.
How much will this cost?
It will cost $151.25 for one camper.
