ACTIVITIES

Some activities are 'CA Led' (Camp Arnes Led) only and some require 2-3 staff minimum to operate.

Activities typically run 12-15 people max. in a 1.5hr block.

Spring/Fall *weather dependant

  • Zipline (CA Led)

Ready for the thrill of your life? Climb up over 40 feet, jump off the platform and zip along the wire until you’ve reached the bottom. It’s like nothing else we have at Camp!

  • Beach Volleyball

Serve up a ball of fun on our beach volleyball court. Enjoy a rally with two or three friends or compete in a full scale tournament!

  • High Ropes Challenge Course (CA Led)

How often do you get to swing from ropes, balance on wooden beams and free fall from 30 feet in the air? Our ropes course is great for personal growth and team building. Overcome your fear and give it a try.

  • Flying Squirrel (CA Led)

This activity is accessible to everyone whether old or young and to those with mobility issues. Control how high you want to be taken up to a height of 25 feet. Feel the wind as you swing and sway.

  • Frisbee Golf (FROLF)

When you combine Frisbee and golf, you get the experience of Frisbee Golf, also know as Frolf. Experience light competition while improving hand-eye coordination throughout the Camp grounds.

  • Archery (CA Led)

There’s nothing more exhilarating than getting a bull’s eye on Camp Arnes’ extensive Archery Range. Archery is a blast for all ages and abilities.

  • The Giant Swing (CA Led)

Get a new perspective from the top of our Giant Swing! Just like a playground swing, except on a bigger scale, and a lake view that will take your breath away.

  • Basketball

Come play on our hard surface outdoor court.

  • Pool Ball

Good hand-eye coordination is needed to sink your opponent’s pool balls. Game play starts with two players positioning their pool balls on their end of the table. They then take turns throwing the game ball at their opponent’s pool balls, trying to sink them. When one player has sunk all of their opponent’s pool balls, the game is over and they are declared the winner.

  • Shuffleboard

For our older guests we offer outdoor shuffleboard.

  • Soccer

Enjoy outdoor soccer in our lake front field.

  • Shelter Building

Students learn to provide a quick respite from the cold, wind or other inclement weather conditions.

Students will be asked to problem solve through teamwork. This promotes the building of self esteem, group cooperation and leadership skills.

  • Play Structure

  • Ping Pong

  • Shooshing Boards

Just like skiing except you are sharing your skis with your peers. Team building is enhanced as you work together to advance in the correct direction.
