What parents say about Camp Arnes

My daughter is 6 and the oldest of our four. As parents, Teddy Bear Camp was our first "camp" experience, and what a fantastic experience! Her counsellor did a phenomenal job with her and has had a real, tangible impact on Keyra's life. It was wonderful to have her come home with so much momentum in her young Christian life. Even last night, over a month later, I had my two oldest at a bonfire and she was teaching us the camp fire songs she learned at camp. Keep up the good work!

This year I was able to come and volunteer the week my girls were at camp. As a parent sending my kids to camp, it was great for me to be there when the Campers and my girls arrived on the bus. Monday at breakfast hearing the counsellors praying for my kids, for safety and growth, was very moving. And then to top it off... seeing the excitement from the staff as the busses arrived. First the horses meeting and leading the buses in (I was glad to be wearing my sunglasses because they hid my tears) and then the noisy welcome as the busses rolled into the loop. What a blessing for me to see how Camp welcomed all the campers. You are doing a great work there at camp. - Tanya

Thanks so much for the accommodation of Savanna and Sierra for the Teddy Bear Camp. What a wonderful experience. Both Savanna and Sierra are anxiously awaiting next years adventure at Camp Arnes.
