Outdoor Education Packages

We have three packages to choose from. In addition to each package there are optional activities that may be added on a per-activity cost basis.

All fees are subject to GST and are subject to change without notice.

• All activities run
  by school staff.
• 1 teacher / supervisor free for every 30 people in full time attendance

• Camp staff to teach up to 30% of Program Activity classes.
• 1 teacher / supervisor free for every 20 people in full time attendance

• NEW 1 lifeguard (up to 2 hours)

• Camp staff to teach as many Program Activity classes as the school desires.
• 1 teacher / supervisor free for every 10 people in full time attendance

• NEW 1 Lifeguard (up to 4 hours)

The Economy Package rate will be charged for all teachers
and/or supervisors who do not qualify for "free" status.

Additional Information

School is required to:

• Provide a supervisor to student ratio of 1:8 while on site, as recommended by the Safety Guidelines for Physical Activity in Manitoba Schools, and as required by camps who are
  accredited with the Manitoba Camping Association.
• Provide a minimum of 1 supervisor for each activity class.
• Provide basic first aid supplies and take responsibility for all first aid/health concerns.
• Clear tables after meals, keep activity areas tidy & clear of litter and clean sleeping areas
  before departure.

Please note, Camp Arnes staff are available only as instructors for your camp activities. Schools must provide all supervisory personnel.

June Booking Policy

Only Outdoor Education, Standard or Deluxe packages are available.

Discount Seasons:

10% discount is applied to the package rate for bookings taken during the following periods:

• the 2nd Monday in March through the 4th Friday in April.
• the 1st Monday in November through the end of December.

*Activity Class:

Maximum 1½ hour period for up to 12 students.
