Meet the Staff

Shannon Loewen

Shannon Loewen has been the Leadership Development Director at Camp Arnes for 4 years now. It is here that she’s seen lives transformed and changed. She has journeyed the world by participating in several different ministries.

Her faith has grown through a variety of discipleship programs, such as, Capernwray, YWAM, Goshen College, Arrow Leadership and now Providence Theological Seminary. These programs have helped mold her to the leader she is today. God has grown a deep passion in her life to disciple others. It was through this desire and challenge from Camp Arnes that Impact was born; along with Camp Arnes’ commitment to growing everyone that come to their camp.

Keith has been a featured newspaper columnist and has had his ministry featured on www.track10.com. He is currently in the process of writing his first book Breathe: Chronicles of a demergent Christian Leader and is also currently serving as the director of programming at Camp Arnes in Manitoba, Canada.

Role of a Student Leader

An Impact student leader is present in all the sessions. They are there to be a guide and share their wisdom with the students as they process the material that they are working through. They also facilitate the events of the day for the students. They are there as prayer support, and another discipler as the students walk through this program.

They are also facilitators and guides on the mission trip to Guatemala. They have an integral role in the successful process of the Impact Student.
